the Gabby Challenge or... the PREVIEW

Dear freinds,
being part of PD was extremly challenging and successful in every aspect, from learning new part of designing fashion dolls to know more of you and more dolls.
We were impressed by some of the dolls we never used before, and one is especially Ellowyne and Tyler.

In this last challenge, out of the regular project, we have done what we would love to be the first dress of the POSSIBLE collection.
In fact , being out of the last contestants, we haven't the chance to show what we had in minds.
We wanted to continue the details we used and been inspired during the PD challenges we have done.
We usually created bustier silhouette and bolero accessories, to let you see the dresses. Bubble sleeves, and very tight silohette.
We want our collection to be elegant but sexy, and extremly fashionable.
So we created this piece as the first one, with the light grey satin, to be used also in the daytime part of the collection, and the pink and bustier elements to recall the eveningwear we love.

Of course we and you can only imagine and think about what it could come, but we are sure this gives you a good idea.

The preparation for the KISH Challenge

WOW,
we are at the start of another challenge and we got to study!
We started choosing the materials and the images we wanted to be as the Inspiration.
The challenge was not only about Erte, but also about Poiret and the Art Deco period.
We love Erte, but we focused our attention on the very first Fashion Designer ever: Poiret.
We discovered a talented and extremly innovative designer, with a sense of fashion very new and truly close to persons of his period.

We loved the coat and the dresses of Poiret. During the days of the preparation of this challenge, a huge exhibit at the Metropolitan Musuem of NYC was closing and after some months and many celebration in the fashion world, we would love to give our little and humble tribute to this great designer and tailor.

And there we found our Inspiration for the KISH CHALLENGE.
The doll is absolutely new for us, we never know her before and this is a new adventure..

some great modern designers as John Galliano inspired themselves to this period too, with great and extravagant outfit as the following pictures shows....... and we got so much inspirations from this as reinvention of that mood.
