Magia2000 at the BARBIE BUS in Turin

Today we were honored to be part of the funny and joyful experience at the barbie Bus .
The Barbie Bus travelled across Italy from Milan to Rome, Venice, FLorence and Naple and more during this past month and today it was the last stop, in our own town Torino.
So, it was a pleasure to be part of this special stop in my own city, and be special guset as OOAK Designer and Mattel freelance designer for all the events we did during this past 2 years.
So we exposed our dolls on the barbie truck, with so much joy, playing with little girls, building new hairstyle for their dolls and of course discussing with adult collectors.
At the end we had a very big surprise with a VIP guest. Mrs Luciana Littizzetto, one of the more funny and intelligent actress and tv star, came to join us on the Barbie Bus, to visit us and receive our OOAK Barbie in her tribute.
We thank Luciana for her kindness. Here are some pics of the beautiful day in Torino.

It's a great pleasure and honor to be just featured on the pages of "Magazine - Il Corriere" one of the most important culture and fashion magazine of Italy, in this wonderful article about the new passion fo fashion dolls.
We are considered honored to be next to great designers as Victor & Rolf and Jason Wu, as example of creativity and couture-inspired fashion dolls.

It's a big pleasure for us to show you some pics of the recent Jason WU Event, where we meet our longtime cherished designer Jason, and also won both prizes for the Design Competition "I love JAson".
The Judge's Award went ot our Crystal Diamond and the Public's Award went to "We Love Jason" , a special doll inspired and dedicated to MR. WU.
The convention was a beautiful experience and we thank all the people we meet there.

Barbie meets Colangelo at Biffi

the Vogue Fashion Night Out, on 10th Sept.'09, was a huge success, and Barbie had a wonderful event in Milan last night too.
We were at Biffi store, wonderful shop of fashion in Milan, where we collaborated creating the replica doll of Gabriele Colangelo's dresses.
Colangelo is a new talent of italian fashion, and his delicious and elaborated dresses were ecposed in the Biffi windows, wore by Barbie Mannequins and next to a doll replica.
We worked hard to duplicate the soft and elgant touch of Garbiele on Barbie size.
The event was successful, and Ricard Dickson, Mattel Vice President, made a tribute to Gabriele with a OOAK doll gift, with a special dress especially designed for the event. We had the honor to create the dolls and the tribute doll for the event.
A look-like doll of Franca Sozzani was also donated by Mr. Dickson to the Vogue Director, to celebrate the year of collaboration. the Sozzani doll was especially produced by the design department in LA.

The Black Issue - Vogue

it is an incredible honor to post some of the pics of the The Vogue Black Issue - Barbie.
In july 2009 issue, Vogue celebrates Barbie, in a special way, with more than 140 pages completely dedicated to Afro-American Barbie dolls.
We got the honor to be part of this project, collaborating in displaying , creating outfits and give sense of barbie style together with the incredible staff of Vogue, from Giovanna Battaglia to Elisabetta Barracchia.
Here are just few pics from the book, and more has to come with our dolls displayed.
