On monday 23rd November 2009, Vogue Italy organized a charity Auction together with Mattel and Christie's to donate money for AIRC (Italian Association for Cancer Research) and auctioned some of the iconic dolls shooted on the july issue "The Black Barbie".
So we were called to prepare and set all the dolls for the evtn and for the auction, together with some of our dolls donated to this charity event.

We want to thank Vogue Italy, as Mrs. Franca Sozzani, and Mattel for their support.

The incredible event brought more than 54.000 Euro for charity, an incredible result for Cancer Research.

Barbie Auction in Florence

Here are some of the pics from the Barbie Auction in Florence, on last 20th November.
The auction was made inside of the historical building of Palazzo Vecchio, in the centre of Florence, right in Piazza della Signoria.
It was an incredible location.
Barbie was part of an inportant project for the Museo dei Bambini.
In the evening there was a special auction for "Save the Children", where we have one of our special ooak doll " Magia in the Spotlight". Famous Italian TV star, Michelle Hunziker, was the co-chair fo the event and she bidded and won our ooak doll.

At the Fiat Lounge with Barbie and Magia2000

Yesterday night, at the Fiat Lounge in Milan, Barbie and Fiat celebrate the final part of the year together, exposing the Fiat 500, whihc will be auctioned in Florence on 20th November.
We were called as special guests of this funny and glam event to expose some of our dolls and our Live Auction doll for Florence, our "Magia in the Spotlight".

Magia2000 at the BARBIE BUS in Turin

Today we were honored to be part of the funny and joyful experience at the barbie Bus .
The Barbie Bus travelled across Italy from Milan to Rome, Venice, FLorence and Naple and more during this past month and today it was the last stop, in our own town Torino.
So, it was a pleasure to be part of this special stop in my own city, and be special guset as OOAK Designer and Mattel freelance designer for all the events we did during this past 2 years.
So we exposed our dolls on the barbie truck, with so much joy, playing with little girls, building new hairstyle for their dolls and of course discussing with adult collectors.
At the end we had a very big surprise with a VIP guest. Mrs Luciana Littizzetto, one of the more funny and intelligent actress and tv star, came to join us on the Barbie Bus, to visit us and receive our OOAK Barbie in her tribute.
